Gary Lester Gordon

Funeral services for Gary Lester Gordon, 70, of Pflugerville, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ernest Benson officiating. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Gordon died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Gordon was born February 11, 1944, in Cumberland, Maryland, the son of William and Wilma (Dowd) Gordon. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Gordon married Beverly Brooks, June 25, 1983 in Austin. They lived in Pflugerville for the last 17 years. He was retired for the Post Office in Austin. He also served as a Baptist Minister. Survivors include his wife Beverly Gordon of Pflugerville, two sons Gary L. Gordon Jr. of Austin and Gerard Lee Gordon of Houston; two daughters, Ashlee Paige Gordon and Alexis LeAnn Gordon both of Pflugerville one brother Harold Gordon of Tempe, AZ and one sister, Norma Gordon of Los Angeles, CA; several grandchildren.
