BeltonFuneral services for Lee Lowe, 87, of Belton, formerly of Huntington, West Virginia, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Huntington, West Virginia, at the Ridgelawn Memorial Park with visitation 6-8 PM Friday evening at the Chapman Mortuary in Huntington, West Virginia. The family will receive friends for visitation in Belton Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Lowe died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at her home in Belton. Mrs. Lowe was born, June 20, 1926, in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Charles E. King and Fern (Halley) King. She worked for more than 30 years for the Cabell Huntington Hospital in the Insurance Department. In Huntington, she was a member of the Highlawn Baptist Church. After moving to Texas she attended the First United Methodist Church in Belton. Survivors include two sons, Allen Lowe of Belton and Riley Lowe of Huntington, West Virginia; one brother Robert A. King of Huntington, West Virginia; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the College Lunch Program of the First United Methodist Church Belton, 205 East 3rd Avenue, Belton, Texas 76513. Chapman Mortuary in Huntington, West Virginia is in charge of out of town services. Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of services in Belton.
