Loyce Lee Reid

Funeral services for Loyce L. Reid, 95, of Rogers, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the First Baptist Church in Rogers with Rev. David Newsom officiating. Burial will follow at the Rogers Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Reid died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, in a Belton nursing home. Mrs. Reid was born in Sego, the daughter of Will B. Malicoat and Alice (Kilgore) Malicoat. She married Ennis A. Reid, October 15, 1938, in Rogers. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church Rogers. She worked for many years as a telephone operator. Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by an infant son, and son, William Bill Reid and her husband Ennis A. Reid. Also two brothers, James Malicoat and W. M. Malicoat and two sisters Margie Wyatt and Marie Weeks. Survivors include one son Ronnie Reid of Plum and one daughter, Ferral Quiroz of Salado, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
