James Elliot Tomastik

Belton--- James Elliot Tomastik, 67, of Little River, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, in a Temple hospital. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6:00 -8:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mr. Tomastik was born in Temple, the son of Jerry L. and Billie Jean (Beckett) Tomastik. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving as a B-52 Bomber mechanic during the Vietnam War. He later worked for Coca Cola and Exxon, as a refrigeration and air conditioner technician. Mr. Tomastik was a member of many clubs and organizations including the American Legion. He was a proud Republican and a Tea Party member. He was preceded in death by one sister, three brothers, his father and step-father. Survivors include his daughter, Tracie Carroll Jones of Temple, his mother Billie Jean Pairett of Little River, three grandchildren, Bryson, Chandler and Cross Jones and great grandson Easton Elliot Jones; one brother Bruce Tomastik of Sparks and one sister Amy Powell of Magnolia.
