Patricia Mead

Memorial services for Patricia R. Mead, 86, of Belton will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with Rev. Gary Baxley officiating. Mrs. Mead died Monday, July 7, 2014 in a Belton nursing home. Mrs. Mead was born September 22, 1927, in Fairmont, Minnesota, the daughter of William Roy Sturgeon and Ruth Ophelia (Edwards) Sturgeon. She married Marshall Mead October 15, 1948 in Minneapolis, Minn. She was a homemaker. They moved from Minnesota to Georgetown, Texas in 1999. She was a member of The Worship Place at Sun City in Georgetown. Mrs. Mead lived at the Garden Estates in Temple after leaving Georgetown in 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband January 6, 2007. Survivors include son Mark William Mead of Houston and daughter Marsha Mead of Salado; two grandchildren Matthew Mead and Yanna Mead.
