Helen Morris

Funeral services for Helen Morris, 95, of Willow Grove, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, July 14, 2014, with Rev. Ridge Adams officiating. Burial will follow at the Moody Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation 4:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday afternoon at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Morris died Friday, July 11, 2014, in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Morris was born November 29, 1918, in Eddy, the daughter of Foster and Alice (Bertrand) Hargrove. She married Thomas Jourdan Morris, November 6 1937, in Willow Grove. She was a homemaker and a long time member of Willow Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband on September 7, 2010. Survivors include one son, Bill Morris and wife Dodie of Austin, two daughters, Jenice Morris of Willow Grove and Patsy Newman of Salado, three grandchildren John Newman, Chris Morris, Anne Sellers five great grandchildren Jewell and Ellie Morris, Austin, Tanner, and Jemma Sellers.
