Belton--- Funeral services for Jimmy Glenn Lewis, 57, of Belton, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church of Belton with Rev. Darren Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mr. Lewis died Wednesday, September 03, 2014, at a Temple hospital. Mr. Lewis was born July 30, 1957, in Andrews. He served during the Vietnam Era in the U. S. Army. He married Jennifer Janacek, January 28, 1992 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belton. Mr. Lewis was a volunteer at the Temple V. A. Hospital for more than 20 years with the Music Therapy Program. Survivors include his wife Jennifer Lewis of Belton, one son Jerimy Lewis of Laredo; one daughter Jennifer Martin of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; one step son Jon Janacek of Houston and one step daughter Elisa Lovorn of Belton; three brothers Steve Lewis of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Stephen Lewis of Vernon and Robert Lewis of Graham; one sister Debbie Smith of Robert Lee and five grandchildren. Memorials maybe made to the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. Program at garysinisefoundation.org
