Belton--- Graveside services for Oma Lea Kirk, 92, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 15, 2014, at Davidson Cemetery with Clay Thompson officiating under the direction of Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Kirk died Thursday, September 11, 2014, at a Temple nursing home. She was born July 20, 1922, in Mound, Texas the daughter of Joseph Birch HoneyCutt and Oma Lee (Melton) HoneyCutt. She was a member of Little River Baptist Church and worked for 33 years as a waitress for the Stagecoach in Salado. She was devoted to all of her family and a long time resident of Temple and Coryell County. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; two brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include one son, G.B. Dixon of Montana; four daughters, Jerry Reisner and husband Frankie of Odessa, Linda Thompson and husband Clay of Midland, Tommie Jupp and husband Don of the United Kingdom and Margie Sperry of Temple; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
