Rosemary Francis (Russell) Cummings, of Belton, died Friday, September 12, 2014 in a Temple hospital. She was 60 years old. Services will be held Tuesday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Temple, and burial will be at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Rosemary was born in Wilmington, California on April 3, 1954 and married a tenacious Sea Bee Donald "DJ" Cummings on June 30, 1973. She worked as a bookkeeper for a Temple nursing home for 12 years before dedicating her life to serving her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking, keeping her husband in line, crocheting and sewing, spoiling her grandchildren, and visiting with her family and friends around the world on social media. She cared immensely about her family and friends and despite her failing health, strove to help whenever she could. Her legacy of love, faith, forgiveness, patience, perseverance, humor, and joy in the midst of adversity is an inspiration to all who knew her. She truly endured to the end. Rosemary is survived by husband Donald "DJ" Cummings of Belton; son David Cummings of El Paso, Texas; daughter Leah Lombardi of Belton; brother Robert Frye of Pueblo West, Colorado; sister Mary Lea Blessitt of Fayetteville, Georgia; and grandchildren Corey Lombardi, Emily Lombardi, and Nathan Lombardi.
