Annie Shropshire

Graveside services for Annie M. Shropshire, 89 of Cleburne, formerly of Belton will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at the North Belton Cemetery with Rev. Steve Durbin officiating. Mrs. Shropshire died Monday, September 15, 2014, at a Cleburne Nursing Center. Mrs. Shropshire was born March 19, 1925, in the Dog Ridge Community, Bell County, the daughter of Robert Neal Cass and Maude Lee Lusk Cass. She married Kenneth Shropshire, August 29, 1947. She was a lifetime resident of Belton and Bell County until she moved to Cleburne in 2010. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belton. She was preceded in death by her husband May 20, 1998. Survivors include two sons James (Jim) E. Shropshire of Belton and Alan R. Shropshire of Houston; one daughter Karen Durbin of Cleburne; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
