Patsy Nell Harrison Nelson

Funeral services for Patsy Nell (Harrison) Nelson, 81, of Belton will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with Rev. Albert Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Viewing hours will be 6:00 -8:00 PM Friday evening October 17, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the North Belton Cemetery. Mrs. Nelson died Tuesday, October 14, 2014, in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Nelson was born December 19, 1932 in Belton, the daughter of Ulus and Emeline (Tatum) Harrison. she was a lifetime resident of Belton. She was the salutatorian of her senior class at Harris High School in Belton. She married Noah "N. L." Nelson July 31, 1951 in Belton. Mrs. Nelson was a LVN for the VA Hospital in Temple until she retired. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Ladies Auxiliary. She was a long time member of Bethel A. M. E. Church in Belton. She was preceded in death be her husband in 2000. Survivors include daughter Patricia L. Nelson of Belton, two brothers Maurice Harrison of Temple and Charles Harrison of Dallas; one sister Rena Gunter of Belton; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
