Dianne Lea Munger

Funeral services for Dianne Lea Munger, 79, of Georgia, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 17, 2014, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darren Walker officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. Mrs. Munger died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in an Atlanta, Georgia hospital. Mrs. Munger was born October 27, 1934 in Temple, the daughter of Edwin Fincher 'Jack' Daniel and Jessie Lea Sims Daniel. She was a graduate of Southwest Texas State University. She was a homemaking and middle school English teacher for many years. She was raised in the Methodist Church and later attended the Southern Baptist Church. She was a beloved grandmother and great grandmother known as 'Meemaw'. She loved watching sports especially her two favorite teams, the Atlanta Braves and Texas A & M Football. Survivors include two sons Richard Munger of Atlanta, Georgia and Larry Munger of Sugarland; two daughters Nancy Ferree of Cordova, Tennessee and Sharon Tiernan of Sammamish, Washington; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
