Graveside services for Lila Mae Gray, 83, of Belton, will be held at 2:30 PM Monday, November 17, 2014 at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Gray died Friday, November 14, 2014, in a Temple Nursing Home. Mrs. Gray was born in Floyd County, July 19, 1931, the daughter of Lewis Clark Batty and Ethel Mae Musgrave Batty. She moved to Belton in February of 1954 from Plainview. She was a seamstress for 26 years making custom clothes. She also worked at Texas Instruments for 16 years before retiring. She was a member of 6th Avenue Church of Christ. She married James Walter (Jim) Gray, February 19, 1982 in Belton. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons Alton Wayne Robinson and Michael Robinson. Survivors include two sons Richard Lynn Robinson and Danny Ray Robinson both of Belton; one step-son Gary Gray of Needleville and step daughter Donna Williams of Rosenburg; two brother Lee Batty of Lubbock and Lewis Batty of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three sisters Lavern Harrell of Hobbs, New Mexico and Mary Lou Stubbs and Evalena Castleberry both of Lubbock; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
