Joe A Basquez, Jr

Funeral services for Joe Basquez, Jr, 45, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the Dossman Home Chapel with Father Tom Chamberlin officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 7 PM Friday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Basquez died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Basquez was born February 16, 1969 in Belton, the son of Joe A Basquez, Sr. and Maxine (Lopez) Basquez. He was a construction worker and most recently worked for Bell County Maintenance Department. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Survivors include his mother Maxine Sauceda of Belton; one daughter Veronica Basquez of Temple and five sisters Eloida Mata of Belton, Elisa Martinez of Eddy, Eloisa Enriquez of Belton, Elena Castillo of Durango and Linda Lopez of Rogers.
