Funeral services for Harry Frank Morgan, 73, of Salado will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the 3 C Cowboy Fellowship, 16258 Gooseneck Road, in Salado. Burial will follow at the Salado Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at 10:00 AM at the church, one hour prior to the service. Mr. Morgan died Monday, December 1, 2014 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Morgan was born October 1, 1941 in Austin, the son of Jesse James Morgan and Willie Mae Simmons Morgan. He married Mary Zieger September 5, 1964 in Austin. He served for 33 years in the Texas National Guard and 30 years with civil service. After retiring in 1992, Mr. Morgan went to work for Belton Wal-Mart. He was a member of the 3C Cowboy Fellowship in Salado. Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife of 50 years Mary Morgan of Salado, four daughters Nila Glimp of Burnet, Denise Dulaney of Illinois, Jennifer Wright of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Amanda Dockray of Salado; three sisters Ellie Riggs of Kingsland, Shirley Sweda of Austin and Ruby Friar of Austin; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the Polycystic Kidney Foundation.
