James Young

James N. Young , 56, of Holland, Texas passed away suddenly Sunday November 30, 2014. James was born March 21, 1958 in Victoria, Texas to Arthur Lee Young, Jr. and Gloria Ann (Dalton) Young. James was to married his high school sweetheart, DeAnna (Haskett) Young, for thirty eight years. He was blessed by a loving family with two daughters, Misty Young and Amber Sharon, and five grandchildren, Martin Young, Eric Delgado, KayCee and Rebecca Sigman and Kaitlyn Maley. Mr. Young " The Mad Hatter of Holland" was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, an accomplished musician, an avid drag racing fan and loved to tell a good story. His greatest passion was his hobby of making hats from recycled beer cartons. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Young, Jr. and a brother, Robert Young. He is still loved and will be missed by his mother, Gloria Young of Mathis, Texas, an older brother, Bruce Young and two sisters, Sandra Young Hutto and Cynthia Young. As well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date at his family home on the Nueces River in South Texas.
