Bennie Leeper

Bennie (Ben) Wayne Leeper, 76, of Belton passed away surrounded by loving family on December 5, 2014 in a Temple hospital. Private family services will be held at a later date. Ben was born December 21, 1937 in Hedley, Texas to Gurvis Leeper and Eunice (Thomas) Leeper. He married Bettye Sells on August 5, 1961 in Plainview, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife; a son, Glenn Leeper and wife Marnee of Taylor; two daughters, Susan Mraz and husband Todd of Morgan;s Point and Jana Lesher of Temple; a sister, Fern Gibson of New Jersey; Seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
