Opal Moore

Belton--- Funeral services for Opal Moore, 89, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, at the East Highway Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. The family will receive friends for visitation 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Mrs. Moore died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in a Bartlett nursing home. Mrs. Moore was born in Kentucky, the daughter of Paul and Letha Mae (Merriman) Miller. She married William Robert Moore, Sr. March 16, 1944 in Mississippi. She was a long time member of East Highway Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters Hilda Jean Thompson and Josette Marie Snellgrove. Survivors include three sons William Robert Moore, Jr. of Mart, Wayne Roger Moore of Zabcikville and John David Moore of Eddy; two daughters Sharron Roberts of Waco and Karron Sue Ziegler of Troy; one sister, Edith Marie Horn of Zachary, Louisiana; 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.
