William (Bill) David Ferguson, Jr.

Funeral services for William (Bill) David Ferguson, Jr.,80, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with Rev. Darrell Goynes officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Ferguson died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Ferguson was born, May 2, 1934 in San Antonio, TX, the son of William David Ferguson Sr. and Ruby (Rogers) Ferguson. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He married Mary Olena Goynes, August 25, 1967 in Victoria,TX. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Local 67 for 46 years. After retiring 8 years ago he and his wife retired to Temple from Leander. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. More than anything he loved his wife and family. He could build or fix anything from building a home to fixing a grandchild's toy. Survivors include his wife Mary Olena Ferguson of Temple; two sons William D. Ferguson of Leander and Jerald Lynn Ferguson of Johnson City and one daughter Rene Faubion of Zephyr; one brother Jimmy Ferguson of San Antonio and one sister Suzanne Allen of Arkansas; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
