Mary Mead

Funeral services for Mary Mead, 83, of Belton will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Bever officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nolanville. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home. Mary passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in a Belton nursing home. Mary was born April 3, 1931 in New Gulf, Texas to Burt Clark Morton and Agnes Mae (Smith) Morton. She moved to Belton in the 1950's and was a lifelong member of The Belton Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Henry Mead; daughter, Shirley Mae Schiller and sister, Louise Lucas. Survivors include her son, Jimmy Mead and daughter-in-law Lisa Mead of Belton and two grandsons, Henry Clark Mead and James Clark Mead also of Belton.
