Howard Palombi

Memorial services for Howard Palombi, 95, of Belton, will be held at a later date. Mr. Palombi died Monday, March 9, 2015 at his home in Belton. Mr. Palombi was born August 24, 1919, in Rockford, Illinois, the son of John and Nancy Palombi. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy Coast Guard. He married Flamina DiTorrice November 22, 1941 in Riverside, Illinois. Mr. Palombi was preceded in death by his wife in 2001. Survivors include three sons John Howard Palombi, Harry Joseph Palombi and Richard Palombi and one daughter Judith Griffin; ten grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
