Lila Magill

Funeral services for Lila Magill 96, of Belton, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Magill died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in a Belton Nursing Home. Mrs. Magill was born December 14, 1918 in Cameron the daughter of Willie Edward Thomas and Mackie Malone Thomas. She graduated from Milano High School. She was the youngest of 10 children. She married Clifton E. Magill November 16, 1952 in Baytown. She worked for many years as a LVN with Scott and White Hospital. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Belton and enjoyed membership in the Friendship Sunday School Class, the Round Table, the Golden Age Club and the Heritage Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters and her husband Clifton E Magill July 24, 1991. Survivors include two sons Charles Magill of Granite Shoals and Michael Magill of Belton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Belton First Baptist Church.
