Dr. Elmer L Clark

Funeral services for Dr. Elmer Louis Clark, 95 of Belton will be held at a later date. Dr. Clark died Wednesday April 1, 2015 in Georgetown, Texas. Dr. Clark was born July 22, 1919 in Dallas, the son of Walter F. Clark and Jessie M. (Leeds) Clark. He married Rachael Blanchette January 9, 1949. Dr. Clark was in private practice in Cleburne, TX from 1949-1975 while at the same time he was also the Santa Fe Railroad doctor. He retired from Scott and White/ Santa Fe hospital (Temple) in 1986. He was preceded in death by his parents; son - Steven Louis Clark; brother - Arthur L. Clark; sisters - Lois Harmon and Ruth Morris; and granddaughter -Amy Shields. Survivors include his wife Rachael of Belton, TX.; two daughters: Ann Daniel and husband William of Cleburne, TX. and Mary Shields and husband Jimmy of Georgetown, TX.; son: Tom Clark and wife Linda of Midlothian, TX.; daughter-in-law: Mrs. Jacqueline Clark of Cleburne, TX. ; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
