Viola Hobbs Bianchi, 87,died on April 8, 2015 in Belton, Texas. Viola Caroline Olga was born on July 19, 1927, in Malone, Texas to Henry and Sophie Hodde. In 1947, Vi married Oliver Earl Hobbs in Victoria, Texas. They moved to Houston in 1955 and she continued her civil service work, employed by the Aerospace Fuels Office. Earl died in 1974, and in 1980 she married Victor Bianchi in Victoria. Vi is preceded in death by her first husband Earl Hobbs, who she was married to for 27 years, and by her second husband Victor Bianchi, who she was married to for 30 years. She is also preceded in death by her stepdaughter Gail Rybak. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Roxanne Hobbs of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and her daughter and son-in-law Lynne and John Palamara of Belton, Texas. Grandchildren include Steve Hobbs and wife Lindy of Bixby, OK; Mike Hobbs and wife Sarah of Pittsburgh, PA; Brian Hobbs and wife Crista of Bixby, OK; Vicki Hobbs of Tulsa, OK; Chris Palamara of Grapevine, TX, and Nick Palamara of Austin, TX. Great grandchildren include Matthew, Brandon, and Nathan Hobbs; Kylie and Addison Hobbs; Havyn and Cane Hobbs, and Christian Brown. She is also survived by her stepdaughters and their husbands, Mary and John Halamuda, Lydia and Darren Mobley, Nancy and Gary Williamson, and their children and grandchildren. Vi loved her family. In their eyes, her greatest contribution was her supportive strength and love for each of them. She loved to dance, listen to music, and play dominoes. Vi was always full of energy and a great inspiration to everyone. A visitation will be held on Monday April 13 from 6-8:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Victoria. The funeral will be held at the same location at 11:00am on Tuesday April 14. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Victoria. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Vi's honor to Baylor Scott & White Hospice in Temple, TX or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude for the loving care provided by the Memory Care Unit staff at Stoney Brook Assisted Living in Belton, Texas.
