Robert Gray "Robby" Allison died peacefully in Temple on May 30, 2015 at the age of 55. He is survived by his father Robert "Bob" Allison and wife Barbara "Mimi" of Waco; wife, Lindsey McFarland Allison; children, Clayton Allison of Temple; Whitney Allison Polk & husband Zachary of Lubbock; Brady Allison of College Station; siblings, Emily Allison Mikeska & husband Ronny of Temple; Maggie Allison Ritz & husband Rusty of Spring; nephews Rustin Mikeska of Houston; Cooper & Carson Ritz of Spring; niece Randa Mikeska of Temple. He is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth "Bobbie" Allison of Temple. Robert was born on July 25, 1959 in Royal Oak, Michigan. He graduated from Temple High School in 1977 and Texas A&M University in 1982 with a degree in Construction Science. He married Lindsey McFarland in 1982. Upon graduating, he joined RGM Constructors and enjoyed 30 years working with wonderful people all of whom he called friends. He was a dedicated member of Austin General Contractors holding many positions. Robert was an accomplished leader and took great pride in the continued success of the company. Robert loved boating, water & snow sking, hunting, fishing, cooking, sunsets and most of all spending time with family and friends. His passion was his family and loved them dearly. He is remembered by his sense of humor, skill and love for the construction industry, gift of communication both in English and Spanish and his dedicated friendship to many. A celebration of Robert's life with friends and family is scheduled Wednesday June 3, 2015 at 6pm at Overlook Pavillion, Lakeview Park, Belton next to Dead Fish Grill. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
