Ruby King

Funeral services for Ruby M. King, 94, of Belton, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Belton Church of Christ with Tommy Beaver officiating. Burial will follow at the Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home. Mrs King died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in a Belton Nursing Home. Mrs. King was born April 11, 1921 in Burnet, the daughter of Louis and Alta (Whitis) Rhoades. She married Clyde Cecil "C. C." King November 6, 1937 in Belton. She was long time member of the Belton Church of Christ. She was a homemaker. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband in 1988, her parents and two brothers Raymond and Troy Rhoades. Survivors include her daughter Frances Morris and husband Travis of Duncan, Oklahoma, brother D. L. Rhoades of Belton and sister Geneva Waddell of Belton. Two grandchildren Jeff Morris and Angela Little and husband David, four great grandchildren Chris, Cooper, Paxton and MeKenzie; nephews Donnie, Jerry, Randall and Jimmie; nieces Pat, Lillie and Jaynie. The family wishes to thank Pat, Lillie and Geneva; her special roommate, Alice Gerngross and her Belton Family, The Heitmillers all for their special love.
