Marilyn Elizabeth Mcqueen

Memorial services for Marilyn Elizabeth McQueen, 64, of Belton, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation following the funeral service at the Funeral Home. Ms. McQueen died Monday, June, 22, 2015 in a Temple hospital. Ms. McQueen was born January 6, 1951, in Temple, the daughter of J. C. McQueen and Mildred Louise (Connell) McQueen. She was a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelors Degree of Fine Art. She retired from the State of Texas, Texas Workforce Commission formerly the Department of Human Services as a Program Specialist for Welfare. She was a Member of the D.O.E.S. with the Temple Elks Lodge #138. Survivors include son Rick Wesson of Denton, daughter Jennifer Ramey of Orlando; two brothers Bob McQueen of Belton and James McQueen of Humble and three grandchildren, Brittney Wesson, Jake Wesson, and Michael Ramey. Memorials may be made to The Helping Hands Ministry in Belton.
