Albert Herman Bockhold Belton: Services for Albert Herman Bockhold 81, of Belton, will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton at 10 a.m. Tuesday July 7th with Military Honors to follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday July 6th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dossman Funeral Home, Belton, preceded by the Rosary. Mr. Bockhold passed away Friday July 3rd at Scout and White Hospital. He was born October 24th, 1933, to Albert and Viola Bockhold in Hannibal MO and graduated from Palmyra High School, Palmyra MO in 1951. He married Wanda Williams on Feb. 14, 1953 in Hannibal MO. Albert served in the National Guard for 21 years. Albert had various management positions in Owatonna MN before moving his family to Belton, TX in 1979. He graduated from Temple College in 1987 and remained employed until his retirement in 1999. Albert enjoyed farming, gardening and his grandchildren in his retirement. He was an active member of the Christ the King Catholic Church as well as a 4th degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Albert is preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters and daughter Rosann Hanson. Survived by his wife Wanda and children: Mary (Steve) Mussman of Soldotna Alaska, Joe (Tami) of Rochester Minnesota, John (Colleen) of Temple Texas, Robert (Cindy) of Ft Smith Arkansas, Pam (Brian) Harrison of Belton Texas, Michael of Troy, Texas as well fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
