Wilma June Phelps

Funeral services for Wilma J. Phelps, 82, of Belton will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 10, 2015, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Phelps died Thursday, August 6, 2015 in a Temple hospital. Mrs. Phelps was born in Duncan, Oklahoma, the daughter of Kit Carson Woods and Eddie (May) Woods. She graduated from Belton High School. She married Eugene Phelps, July 24, 1950 in Belton. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church Belton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and daughter Joanna Phelps in 1955. Survivors include her husband of 65 years Eugene Phelps of Belton, son Donald E. Phelps of Belton, sister Kitty Stuart of Salado and one grandchild.
