James Eitell Okun

Memorial Service for James Eitell Okun, 71, of Temple, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Dossman Funeral Home with Brother Steve Vaughn officiating. Mr. Okun passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 8, 1944, in Beaumont, Texas, the son of Eitell Fred Okun and Willie Merle Perkins. He married Charlene (Crow) Okun on November 13, 1963 in Nolanville, Texas. He worked for the Santa Fe Rail Road for 28 years. He was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church in Belton. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Charlene Okun; son, Jimmy Okun and wife Terri of Belton; two daughters, Loie Samford and husband Eric of Belton and Kathy Inman and husband Wade of Boerne; Seven grandchildren, Falon, Courtney, Kaila, Justin, Ashton, Jordan and Alex. Great grand children are Addie and Faith.
