Gary Joe Young

Gary Joe Young age 73 of Belton, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 services will be Wednesday, September 30th 2pm at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton burial will follow in North Belton Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 29th from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Gary was born June 9, 1942 in Ashland, KY to Ezra and Mirza Young. Gary is survived by his wife of 49 years Shirley Sikes Young, three sons; Larry and wife Karen Buckles of Granbury, TX, Steven and wife Joann Young of Temple, TX , and Curtis W. Young of Waco, TX as well as, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and twin brothers Larry Curtis and Harold Young. Gary was a loving, kind, gentle man who loved the Lord. His hobbies included camping, traveling, bluegrass festivals, car shows, listening to his old radio, BBQs and coffee shops with freinds and family. He served proudly in the U.S. Army as an MP for 2 years. Gary retired from Wilsonart as a shipping coordinator.
