On September 24, 2015 John David Allen of Belton, Texas was called to be with the Lord while away in California for work. Born on August 11, 1971 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania where John spent most of his years. It was here John attended James M. Coughlin High School and obtained his high school diploma. This same high school is where he met his sweet heart, Patricia Castano, only to marry her years later on April 22, 2006. With many years of love came two children Alexandria (19) and Andrew (3). John loved his wife and children and did everything it took to give them the best life possible. Surviving John in death is his mother, Jean Allen; sister, Joyce Allen; grandmother, Isabel Yochem and nephew Jacob Allen of Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews. John attended Luzerne Community College where he obtained Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering. Upon completing his degree he got a job at Tobyhanna Army Depot and moved to Belton,Texas for his job. John worked out of Ft. Hood as a Blue Force Tracker Field Software Engineer doing what he loved. While employed at Tobyhanna, John saw 4 tours to Iraq and Afghanstan and received awards while there for his hard work and knowledge of his job. John enjoyed many things, such as his Dallas Cowboys, New Jersey Devils and relaxing at his pool, but nothing more than spending time with his wife and children. John will be missed by many and forgotten by none. Services will be held at Dossman Funeral Home on Friday October 2, 2015 at 2pm.
