Natividad Villanueva

Natividad Villanueva, 74, of Temple died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Kenedy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Kenedy, TX. Mr. Villanueva was preceded in death by his son Abel Villanueva and a brother Geronimo Villanueva. He leaves his wife of 55 years Augustina Villanueva; his sons, Natividad Villanueva Jr., Rosendo Villanueva, Maugro Villanueva, Natividad Villanueva III and his wife Leslie Villanueva; his daughter, Esmeralda Davis; his brother, Daniel Villanueva; his sisters, Connie Mendoza, Santos Lara; 10 grandchilden and 21 great-grandchildren. Born in Buckholts to Leopold and Petra Villanueva he was raised in Central Texas. He was ordained in 1981 as a Southern Baptist Minister and started his ministry at First Mexican Baptist Church in Wellington, TX. He continued his ministry for the next 32 years. "Praise the Name of Jesus" was his famous phrase for 10 years every Saturday as the radio announcer for the Victoria en Cristo christian show at the KTON Christian Radio in Belton, TX.
