He was the oldest son of Richard and Lela Mae (Nettle) Baggerly. In 1952 he met and married Bernadette DaSilva, and he later married Velva June West in 1963. He was the proud father of three sons, David of Spring, Texas; Tommy of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Troy of Belton, Texas. He was also the grandfather of eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Buddy was a heavy equipment operator for over 50 years and installed many miles of underground utilities in South Texas. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Minnie Browning and Joyce Spence of Belton, and brothers Bob of Belton and Richard of Temple. Buddy conducted his business with a handshake and his word was his bond, and we are running out of people like him. He will be dearly missed by a multitude of friends and family.
