Elaine Kimler Stephens

Funeral services for Elaine Kimler Stephens, 86, of Temple, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephens died Friday, December 11, 2015 in a Temple hospital.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stephens was born in Tampico, Mexico, October 8, 1929, the daughter of Eugene Brown Kimler and Harriet Davis Kimler. She attended Oklahoma State University. She married James L. Stephens, June 25, 1949, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Stephens taught ESL Reading to adults. She was a member of First Baptist Church, member of the WMU and taught Sunday School. She was also a foster parent.
She was preceded in death by her husband June 14, 2013.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Boyd of Salado and Kathleen Stephens of Belton, t
wo sons James Stephens Jr. of Houston and Daniel Stephens of Lynchburg, Virginia,
9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
