Gary Ross Emerson

Gary Emerson, 63, of Holland, died Friday, January 1, 2016 at his home.  The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening, January 8, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.   No services are planned.

Mr. Emerson was born, August 7, 1952, in Kaufman, Texas, the son of George and Barbara (McCoy) Emerson.  He was a construction superintendent for many years.   He was a former member of the American Quarter Horse Association.


Mr. Emerson is survived by his daughters April Emerson Anderson and husband Spencer of Eustace, Texas Holly Emerson Jenkins of Dallas, Texas Shannon Jordan and husband Mark of White Oak, Texas Stacy Barsh and husband Bill of Troy, Texas and son Justin Emerson and wife Angela Crary of Troy, Texas; Grandchildren: Megan Anderson Harrill and husband Alex, Nathan Anderson and wife Elisha, Shannon Anderson, Blake Hammonds, Dylan Jenkins, BJ Jenkins, Quencie Tarrant, Jordan Tarrant, Hunter Dillard, Tucker Roberts, Landon Roberts, Will Barsh, Logan Emerson Primm, Bobby Michael Emerson and Destiny Emerson and Great grandchildren:Lucie Anderson, Phynix Anderson, Avery keeling, Kendall Jade and Peyton Johnson Wife, Charlotte Emerson and brothers Ron Emerson and wife Debbie and Chuck Emerson and wife Carol.

Gary loved life, his beloved dog Ms. Dolly, his horses, the outdoors and beautiful Texas sunsets.

He will be greatly missed by so many.
