Jo Ellen Morris

A memorial service for Jo Ellen Morris, 69, of Morgan’s Point Resort, will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 11 at The First Christian Church in Belton. She passed away January 3, 2016 in Temple .

Jo Ellen was born December 18, 1946 to Enoch Augustus and Gladys Louriene (Moelling) Fireash. She married Harvey Strunk on October 21, 2004 in Belton , Texas . She was an active member of First Christian Church in Belton and spent many fun filled hours with her friends at the Sammons Pool. Jo Ellen retired in 2012 after working several years at the McLane Company in Temple , Texas .

Survivors include her husband, Harvey; four sons, Thomas Henneberger, George Laigle Morris, James and Joseph Strunk; two sisters, Lida Boland and husband Chuck and Kay Oyler and husband Steve and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Christian Church in Belton.
