Urania Carr

Services for Urania I. Carr, 84, of Kansas , will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, February 1, 2016 , at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Joyce Irving officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple .

Mrs. Carr died Monday January 25, 2016 , in Kansas .

Mrs. Carr was born July 18, 1931 in Detroit , the daughter of Gus and Mary (Carajohn) Polites. She married William Carr September 21, 1974 in Lincoln Park , Michigan .

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Carr and a daughter, Annette Carr.

Survivors include three daughters, Stephanie Waller, Katherine Corcoran and husband Jerry and Kirstie M. Houser and husband Stephen; two sons, William Carr and Martin Carr and wife Sonia; a sister, Bernice Nicholson; eight grandchildren, Michelle Hardin, Steven Gilbert, Lindsie Thomas, Nekoda Houser, Nehemiah Houser, Alexis Carr, Michelle Carr and Danyel Orick and five great grandchildren, Katie Hardin, Emma Hardin, Madissen Caunter, Briona Thomas and Aariona Thomas.

Visitation will be held Sunday January 31, 2016 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
