James Clayton Reeves

James Clayton Reeves, 66, of Riesel passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Temple.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with David Wimberly officiating.

James was born on March 31, 1949 in Waco to James and Dana (Chaney) Reeves. Mr. Reeves enlisted in the Army in 1971 and was deployed to Vietnam while in the military. After leaving the Army, James became a welder and worked for several companies during his career including Alamo Steel in Waco. He married Carla Rector in Waco in 2009.

James is survived by his wife Carla Reeves, two step-sons John Walter Little and Joshua Alan Little, a brother David Reeves, and his niece Lisa Smedhorst.
