Almond C Hervey

Services for Almond C. Hervey, Jr., 80, of Belton, will be 11 AM Thursday May 19, 2016 at Dossman Funeral Home with Andy Davis officiating.

Mr. Hervey died Monday, May 16, 2016 at a Belton nursing home. He was born September 26, 1935 in Jonesboro , Ark , the son of A.C. Hervey, Sr. and Emma (Kiefer) Hervey. He married Patsy Matthews on January 21, 1955 in Trumann , Ark. He moved to Belton in 1968 and was a former registrar at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor and retired director of admissions at Temple College . He spent ten years in the United States Air Force and retired from the National Guard in 2006 and was a life member of the National Guard Associations of Texas. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Belton since 1968.

Visitation will be Wednesday May 18, 2016 from 5:30 to 7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home.
