Alexander Jay "Aj" Howard

Graveside services for Alexander Jay “AJ” Howard, 16, of Moffat, will be held at 6 PM Thursday, May 26, 2016, at the Moffat Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-5 PM Thursday, prior to graveside services at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton.

Mr. Howard died Saturday, May 21, 2016, in Temple.

Mr. Howard was born October 15, 1999 in Temple, the son of Joseph and Victoria (Adams) Howard.  He was a sophomore at Belton High School.  He excelled at band, a member of the Belton 100 Marching Band, playing the trombone.  He was also a member of the Belton High School JROTC, and was awarded the Military Officers Association Award for Leadership and had been promoted to Sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jimmy Adams, Sr.

Survivors include his parents Joseph and Victoria Howard of Moffat, two brothers Clayton Hale and Joshua Hale of Temple.  Grandparents Linda Adams, and Joselle and Tim Tatman.
