Felisita Rodriguez

Felisita (Lopez) Rodriguez, 86, of Belton passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016 in Belton.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rodriguez will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Dossman Funeral Home chapel in Belton with Justin Ruiz officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Felisita was born on July 19, 1929 in Salado, Texas to Florencio and Angelita (Guiterrez) Lopez. She grew up in the Central Texas area and married Natividad Rodriguez in 1943 in Salado. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1990. She was a homemaker and attended Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.

Felisita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Nick Lopez, Raymond Lopez, and Ernest Lopez.

She is survived by five sons, Dessie Rodriguez and his wife Louisa, Roy Rodriguez, Sr. and his wife Mary, Louis Rodriguez and his wife Tamara, Neto Rodriguez, and Gilbert Rodriguez and his wife Sally, five daughters, Marie Fraga, Margaret Yepez, Stella Ruiz and her husband Rick, Alice Landeros and her husband Pat, and Vivian Alejandro and her husband Rod, three brothers, Ben Lopez, Delfino Lopez, and Alphonso Lopez, three sisters, Adela Garcia, Connie Rodriguez, and Carolina Vasquez. Felisita is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday evening from6-8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
