Mary Helen Winn

September 29, 1929 — May 27, 2016

Funeral services for Mary H. Winn, 86, of Belton, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Sisk officiating.  Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, May 30, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Miss Winn was born September 29, 1929 in Smackover, Arkansas, the daughter of James Millard Winn and Eunice Hamilton Winn.  She graduated from Rosenberg, Texas High School and entered the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Upon completion of her degree she did an internship at Scott and White Hospital to become a licensed  Medical Technologist. Mary was a loyal and faithful employee for Scott and White for 43 years. During this time she helped establish the Cyto-Genetics Department. After retirement, she had many hobbies, her favorite being wood working. Many of her friends have objects of her loving creations. She was an avid camper and traveled to Canada many times and also many of the lower 48 states.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belton.
Miss Winn is survived by her nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Caroline West.
Memorials may be made to the Eunice and James Winn Scholarship fund at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor University_900 College Street, Belton, Texas 76513
