Memorial services for Narvada Irene Moore, 90, of Belton, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Miller Heights Baptist Church in Belton with Justin Childers officiating.
Mrs. Moore died peacefully Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born September 8, 1925, in Nolanville, Texas, the daughter of Felix Harvey Herrington and Sara Minerva (Burris) Herrington. She married Alfred Lynn Moore on November 22, 1952 and was an original member of Miller Heights Baptist Church.
Irene was a talented seamstress and a wonderful cook with a specialty in sweets.
She was a tenacious fighter surpassing all expections of her medical diagnosis. She was passionate about her love of the Lord and her family including her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Gary Lynn Moore and wife Peggy; a daughter, Susan Kay Moore Wilson; seven grandchildren, Melody Wilson Clampet and husband Brian, Hannah Moore, Clayton Wilson, Nathan Moore, Shelby Wilson, Rebekah Moore and Jonathan Moore and two great grandchildren, Blakely Clampet and Hayes Clampet
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Belton Meals on Wheels.
Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
