Ashlynn Tate Williams

Ashlynn Tate died Sunday, May 29, 2016 in a Bryan hospital.

She joins her Uncle Scott Spurlock in heaven.

Survivors include her parents Christopher Lynn and Lauren Ashley Williams of Bryan, grandparents Thomas and Carol Williams of Rogers and David and Sheila Spurlock of Temple; great grandparents Madelyn Lemmons of Temple, Lynn and Sue Maddux of Holland and Wanda Arbour of Norfolk, Virginia. Two uncles Tommy Joe Williams and Steven Spurlock and husband Cory Beckner and three aunts Tonya Drake and husband Nelson, Taylor Spurlock and Brittany Luna.

We never saw your smile
Or the color of your eyes.
We never heard your laughter.
We never heard your cries.
You never felt our kisses
Upon you cheeks and nose
Or tickles underneath your chin
And on your little toes.
You didn't hear "I love you"
And you didn't hear us weep
For your spirit left your body
And you were born asleep.
But there will come a time
When, in death our eyes close, too.
And we know that when they open,
We'll awaken there with you.
