Doris Kyrene Richter Henke

Mrs. Henke died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at her home.

Mrs. Henke was born October 16, 1926, in Weinert, Texas  the daughter of Emit Lee and Ila Mae Eastland.  She married Jim Harvey Richter in Lometa in 1957.   She was a life long member of the Baptist church.  She enjoyed trips with the Golden Age Club of First Baptist Church in Belton for many years.   She was also a volunteer at the Belton Senior Center.  She later married Herbert Henke in 1999.

She was preceded in death by Mr. Richter in 1983 and Mr. Henke in 2000.

Survivors include her son, Tommy Lee Richter and wife Martha of Belton; two brothers Dalton Eastland of San Marcos and Drew Eastland of Kansas City, Kansas, one grandson Joshua A. Richter and wife Kristi and two great granddaughters Bailey Grace Richter and Taylor McPherson, also many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Golden Age Club of First Baptist Church Belton.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
