Hugo Soto Valenzuela Sr.

Hugo Soto-Valenzuela Sr., 58, of Belton passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in a Temple hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Soto will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with Pastor Luis Rivas officiating. Burial will follow in North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Hugo was born on November 18, 1957 in Durango, Mexico to Thomas Soto and Catalina Valenzuela. He moved to Belton in 1991 and worked for McLane's Company in Temple for 20 years before retiring. He started working for James Construction in Belton in 2015 and was working there at the time of his death. Mr. Soto married Martha Salazar in Mexico in 1982. He was a member of Life Ministries Church in Temple.

Hugo is survived by his wife Martha and his father Thomas, sons Hugo Soto Jr., Jonathan Soto, and Iasai Soto, daughter Marina Troncoso, brothers Juan Soto, Raul Soto, Manuel Soto, Octavio Soto, Rogelio Soto, Thomas Soto, and Elias Soto, sisters Socorro Felix, Catalina Morales, and Alicia Rodriguez, as well as four grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
