Graveside services for Patricia L. Handley, 91, of Temple, formerly of Copperas Cove, will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Bellwood Memorial Park with Deacon Bob George officiating.

Mrs. Handley died Thursday, October 13, 2016 , in a Temple nursing home.

Mrs. Handley was born in Illinois , June 14, 1925 . She was a Registered Nurse serving as Captain in the United States Army. She was married to John Wayne Handley. She worked at Darnell Army Hospital from 1975 to 1995. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove .

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991.

Survivors include her son Shawn Handley of Aransas Pass and two grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
