Julian R Morin

Funeral service for Julian R. Morin, 91 of Belton, will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Pastor Ricardo Morin and Pastor Jeremy Franks officiating.

Mr. Morin died Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Belton. He was born September 5, 1925, in Belton, Texas, the son of Eufracio Perez Morin and Isabel Rodriguez Morin. He married Jesusa Torres on June 15, 1955 in Belton, Texas. He worked for 28 years at Griggs Manufacturing and 10 years at Hydra-Gym Athletics. He was a member of Goodwill Mexican Baptist Church in Temple for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Valentine Morin, Santana Morin, Daniel Morin and three sisters, Damiana Valdez, Raquela Monreal and Candelaria Bozan.

Survivors include his wife Jesusa Morin; four daughters, Adela Gomez and husband Louis of Belton, Ester Muniz and husband Blas, Jr. of Temple, Mary Nieto and husband Lucas of Belton and Rebecca Washington and husband George of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Jose Morin, Cipriano Morin and Jose Angel Morin all of California; two sisters, Maria Herrera of Corpus Christi and Juanita Garza of Robstown; eight grandchildren, Mariam Claypool, Aaron Gomez, Andrea Keener, Adrienne McNaughton, Sophia Nieto , Danielle Muniz, Eric Washington and Sonia Nieto and four great-grandchildren, Jakob Rodness, Kaela Rodness, Michael Keener and Ryan Keener.
