Kathleen Vitek

Funeral service for Kathleen Vitek, 60 of Belton, will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 9, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Belton, Texas with Andy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Visitation will be Sunday January 8, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton.

Mrs. Vitek died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at a Temple hospital. She was born April 26, 1956, in Austin, TX the daughter of Jeff D. and Joyce J. (Steglich) McKinney. She married Ron Vitek on March 8, 2003 in Salado, Texas. She graduated from Crockett High School in Austin in 1974 and graduated Southwest Texas State University in 1979. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, and more recently, First Baptist Church Belton.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Debra Lynn McKinney.

Survivors include her husband Ron Vitek; parents, Jeff D. and Joyce McKinney; a brother, Michael W. McKinney and wife Susan; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Dorothy Vitek; sister-in-law, Jan Cornelius and husband John; niece, Elizabeth McKinney; nephew, Scott W. McKinney and wife Erin and great- niece, Mattie McKinney.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Belton for Gideon’s International in Belton, Texas.
